String XL from rotaliana

String XL is the extra large version of String table lamp. It is an adjustable floor lamp, designed to illuminate an area of the house from above: a corner of the sofa, the dining table, the study area. The lamp has two arms and is made with extruded aluminum with a very rigid and lightweight double T section. The swivel head is in die-cast aluminium and has a polycarbonate optic whereas the stand is in steel. The movement of the lamp is compensated by the elastic cord coated with synthetic fabric running in the extrudate. The dimmer button is positioned in the lower arm of the lamp.
