Here we inform you about how our website can be used by people with disabilities.

Applicable Requirements

The requirements for accessibility of services are set out in the Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG), in particular § 14 BFSG in conjunction with § 3 para. 1 BFSG, as well as the Regulation on the Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSGV). dieter horn GmbH strives to make its website accessible in accordance with the Accessibility Strengthening Act. This does not yet work in all areas, but we are constantly working to improve our offering and remove barriers.

Description of Our Services

dieter horn GmbH is a furnishing company offering high-quality designer furniture and accessories for purchase. We advise our customers on all questions of interior design, both in our showrooms in Pforzheim and virtually via our website or by phone. In our online shop, we present a selection of furniture, lighting, and accessories from internationally renowned manufacturers and offer furniture and accessories for direct purchase through our online shop.

Using Our Online Services

When selecting our products, you have the option to search specifically for furniture from a manufacturer by clicking on "Manufacturer" in the navigation and selecting a brand. Another option is to search specifically for chairs, tables, or lights and view products across manufacturers. To do this, select the corresponding menu item in the navigation ...

After selecting a manufacturer or product category, you will be taken to an overview of all products we list online in the chosen area. If you click on a piece of furniture, a light, or an accessory, a detail page appears with product images, product features, and information on available materials and colors of the selected product. PDF brochures and product data sheets are provided directly by the manufacturer. We have no influence on their accessible design. However, you can contact us at any time, and we will provide you with the desired information in an accessible format. Simply send an email to info@dieter-horn.de

If the product is available for online purchase, you can add it to the shopping cart and then order it. Registration or login is not required for an order. However, you have the option to create a customer account so that you do not have to re-enter your delivery and billing address for future orders. You can also send us an inquiry about the product or add the product to your wishlist for a later purchase.

Status of Compliance with Requirements

Perceptibility

Our images are not consistently provided with alt texts, so they cannot always be read aloud by screen readers. To improve readability, we pay attention to sufficient color contrasts. Controls are sufficiently perceptible.

Operability

Our interactive elements, such as forms and navigation menus, are not yet fully operable via keyboard. We are working to make our offering more accessible to users of assistive software.

Comprehensibility

We strive for clear and understandable descriptions of our products and services. Our navigation is clearly structured and easy to understand.

Robustness

We ensure compatibility with various browsers and devices. Our website is fully usable on mobile devices. Assistive technologies such as screen readers are currently only usable to a limited extent. We are continuously developing our site and working to remove existing barriers.
