Kaiser idell™ 6556-T from Fritz Hansen

The renowned KAISER idell™ lighting range by Fritz Hansen features the original Bauhaus design and is based on designs by Christian Dell. The range is characterised by a globally patented swivel joint and the distinctive shade with ‘ORIGINAL KAISER idell™’ embossing.

The lamp series is characterised by Christian Dell’s ability to create elegant design with basic geometric hallmarks of modernism: shapes like the sphere, circle and cylinder. Today, the KAISER idell is widely recognised as a symbol of noble Bauhaus design, exquisite choice of material, and precise engineering.

With its asymmetrical shade and tall, tiltable arm, the 6556-F floor lamp offers adjustable lighting in Dell’s elegant, minimalist style.

The lamp is made of steel and brass. Shade and base are powder-coated or wet-painted and are available in a high-gloss or matt finish. The chrome-plated parts are made of silver-soldered and hand-polished brass.

In addition to the table lamp shown here, the Kaiser idell™ lighting range also includes floor lamps, wall lamps and pendant lamps. The collection also features two further table lamps with chrome or brass frames.
