Kaiser idell™ 6580-F from Fritz Hansen

The renowned KAISER idell™ lighting range by Fritz Hansen features the original Bauhaus design and is based on designs by Christian Dell. The range is characterised by a globally patented swivel joint and the distinctive shade with ‘ORIGINAL KAISER idell™’ embossing.

The lamp series is characterised by Christian Dell’s ability to create elegant design with basic geometric hallmarks of modernism: shapes like the sphere, circle and cylinder. Today, the KAISER idell is widely recognised as a symbol of noble Bauhaus design, exquisite choice of material, and precise engineering.

The lamp is made of steel and brass. The shade and base are powder-coated or wet-painted and are available in a high-gloss or matt finish. The chrome-plated parts are made of silver-soldered and hand-polished brass, while the brass parts are made of untreated brass. The embossed inscription ‘ORIGINAL KAISER-idell’ can be seen on the top of the swivel joint.

In addition to the floor lamp offered here, which features height adjustment and a swivelling, tilting lamp arm, the Kaiser idell™ lighting range also includes table, wall and pendant lights. A further floor lamp with a tilting lamp arm is also available.
