K26 from tecta
Bauhaus teacher Josef Albers once said: “Art means making three out of one and one”. The K26 is art and a life artist at the same time, because its form tells a lot about life in and with space. It is characterized by minimalist practicality instead of opulence, by clarity that has taken nature as its model. A special melange: its design language is organic, the materials classic. The asymmetrical tabletop, reminiscent of a grand piano, floats on a chrome-plated steel tube. Innovative is the height adjustability, which immediately adapts to wishes.
With its clear form, the K26 ties in with different living situations and shapes. A companion table for a laptop, a glass of wine or an unexpected visitor. An everyday master and charming artist of life – thereby multifunctionally applicable.
In the version offered here, the table features an ash top, which is available in a range of colours. The continuously height-adjustable frame is made from chrome-plated tubular steel.

Tecta is a furniture company based in German Lower Saxony. With the protection and innovative continuation of original Bauhaus models they selected a very prominent field of activity and a very fastidious one. Released by the avant-garde of the 1920s as an risky venture in small-scale production, Tecta managed it exclusively to produce in larger scales today. This has been authorized officially by the Bauhaus archive in Berlin. So Tecta belongs to the leading names when it comes to Bauhaus furniture.
