KWART from Palau
Book shelving system Kwart is in fact an ingenious puzzle. Its name derives from the typical 4-piece-structure forming a whole, with each element being one quarter (‘kwart’ in Dutch).
The loose cross- and T-elements can be easily assembled without carpentry or glue, using the dovetail technique. The shelving system can be expanded by adding extra pieces, allowing it to ‘grow’ with you. The Kwart is very stable and can stand alone, for example as a room divider.
The standard colours are: natural, light grey, dark grey, red or brown. The elements can be provided with a transparent varnish. All elements are made of OSB FSC-certified wood.
