About the Design

Designed to adapt to the fluctuating needs of modern living spaces, Simon Legald has created a simplistic, yet inherently versatile trolley table for Normann Copenhagen. True to its name, the Danish translation of “roll”, Rul moves effortlessly around the home, offering practical utility wherever it’s needed. Its strong, graphic frame is crafted from steel; the strength of the material enabling the dimensions of the design to remain sleek, lending the trolley an eloquently elegant silhouette. The four wheels, smaller ones for easy 360° maneuverability and larger ones for stability, ensure smooth movement and steady positioning, allowing Rul to adapt to any space with ease. Emphasizing simplicity, Rul features a minimalist design that focuses solely on the essentials, the understated design allows the contents of the trolley to take center stage. Adding to its functionality, both tray shelves can be easily removed from the base, catering to a variety of everyday needs.
