Panthella 320 from Louis Poulsen

Created in 1971, Panthella is one of the more popular Verner Panton designs. Provides general and diffused illumination. Slender shaft and hemispheric shade contribute to a well-balanced form. The basic light principle aimed to create a lamp in which the base as well as the shade would act as a reflector. The scale of the shade is slightly smaller to provide a more consistent design for table top placement.

50 years after the introduction of the Panthella, the Panthella table lamp is now presented in a new size. It has a diameter of 32 cm and thus ranks between the Panthella MINI and the Panthella table lamp 400. The Panthella table lamp 320 is available in white, opal acrylic, in a high-gloss chrome version as well as in metallised brass. The Panthella product series is undoubtedly one of the most popular Panton designs. The luminaire emits soft and diffuse room light. The metal version reflects the light directly downwards and creates a soft and pleasant light through the white lacquered inside of the shade and the reflection from the trumpet-shaped base. The acrylic version creates a soft and pleasant diffused light. The different shade colours give a fascinating and decorative room atmosphere.
