AJ Mini Anniversary Edition from Louis Poulsen

Originally designed for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen, in 1957, the AJ Lamp is among Arne Jacobsen’s most significant design icons. Originally, the product family comprised a floor lamp, a wall lamp, a table lamp and a smaller table lamp, as well as a table lamp that was designed to be attached to the table.

The AJ Mini Table Lamp has an iconic, graphic expression, that aligns wonderfully with Jacobsen’s design style and contrasted with the curvature of some of the furniture at the SAS Royal Hotel. The timeless design of the lamp ensures that it lends itself to every interior.

Louis Poulsen is celebrating its 150th anniversary in 2024 and has launched an anniversary edition of the AJ Mini to mark the occasion, which can only be ordered from 1 April to 31 December 2024.

The classic graphic design has been reworked for the anniversary edition with beautiful brass details and a delicate rosé colour on the inside of the shade. The pale pink matt colour on the inside of the shade provides a soft, warm light. The brass stem will patinate over time and gives the lamp its unique character.
