Italian craftsmanship meets Japanese style - with KAI, Shin Azumi has designed a height-adjustable swivel stool with a slightly curved wooden seat, elegant and comfortable.
In Japanese, KAI means shell. And like a shell that opens up to reveal its soft interior, this height-adjustable stool adapts perfectly to the body and offers support and comfort thanks to the curve in the backrest. The simplicity of the design conceals versatility and character.
The seat height can be easily adjusted thanks to the integrated gas pressure spring, so that KAI can be conveniently adapted to the counter height.
The frame is available in a classic sandblasted stainless steel finish with a galvanised stainless steel base or with a modern powder-coated finish in matt black or white. The seat shell made of curved multiplex is available in a choice of colours, with optional seat cushions in leather or fabric for particularly comfortable seating.
