BC 07 Basket® square (Exquisite wood / Glaze) from Janua
The Hamburg-based design duo Birgit Hoffmann and Christoph Kahleyss have reinterpreted Asian dining culture. The designers combine wood, stone and metal to create a sensual round table with the characterful materials of the Janua collection. A square table top in solid wood rests on slightly curved metal struts of different widths.
All corners are rounded, including the edge of the table. It follows the shape of a pebble, also known as the "pebble edge". The BC 07 Basket® impresses with its light design and solidity of character. Its rounded pebble edge is shaped using a specially manufactured tool.
In the version offered here, the table is available in various specially finished woods. The steel frame is painted in RAL 9005 deep black, the struts are glazed in Double Brand Colour.
