The Marie sofa by Hoffmann Kahleyss Design is defined by a soft, enveloping gesture. Gently contoured cushions trace a line that cradles the body and follows its contours. At the back, a delicate gathered seam brings the form together like a clasp—an imaginary clasp that concentrates the volume, makes the back of the piece a statement, and also embodies the visual hallmark of the Marie model family.

The interplay of soft curves, calm lines, and generous proportions creates a compelling aesthetic. Individual elements come together to form a compact solution or grow into expansive sofa ensembles. Throughout, the characteristic lines remain consistent: generous surfaces, flowing transitions, and a form that conveys both openness and a sense of refuge.

In the version shown here, the end module features an armrest on the left-hand side when viewed from the front, which is on the right-hand side when seated. The sofa is upholstered in the high-quality Safire fabric.
