Favela from edra
The Favela armchair designed by Fernando and Humberto Campana does not require a separate frame and is constructed entirely from a variety of natural wooden slats. There is a choice of pine wood for indoor use and teak wood for outdoor use. In both cases, the slats are nailed together by hand in a random arrangement, making each chair unique. The beauty of Favela lies in the naturalness of the materials combined with a seemingly simple construction. In reality, however, the armchair is the result of a week's work and great craftsmanship.
