The Lounger 4 Chaise Longue à Reglage Continu (LC4) from the LC collection of Cassina is one of the classics of design furniture. Designed in 1928 by architect and designer Le Corbusier with Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand, the chaise longue is still part of modern and exclusive furnishings. She is suitable for use in living areas as well as in public buildings, baths and relaxation rooms.
Iconic, innovative, timeless. The archetypal chaise longue, designed in 1928 and exhibited at the Salon d'Automne in Paris in 1929, expresses the harmony of form and function in its combination of geometric clarity and comfort.
Based on an analysis of deckchairs and the proportions derived from Le Corbusier's Modulor system, the chaise longue embodies the concept of comfort with a seat shaped to fit the natural contours of the body. To mark the 60th anniversary of the production of the Le Corbusier®, Pierre Jeanneret® and Charlotte Perriand® collection, the designer chaise longue is being presented in three colour variations in a limited edition.
The special edition is available with three exclusive glossy finishes for the frame, combined with a seat in cantilevered Core Leather Plus in Bordeaux, Blue and Green and a headrest in colour-coordinated leather.
