Thin Black Table from cappellini
Delicate and striking: for the Thin Black Table, Nendo designed a low geometric structure – created from the L-shaped intersection of two off-axis cubes – that supports an ultralight glass table top.
The clever interlocking transparency of the matte black or red metal structure of the Thin Black Table is reminiscent of an Escher labyrinth – a decidedly eye-catching piece that gives a peculiar allure to any setting.
The Thin Black Table can support a maximum load of 50 kg in the centre of the tabletop and 2.8 kg on the protruding corners of the side table.
