Hive from Cane-line
Hive was designed by Foersom & Hiort-Lorenzen MDD with a natural look made from hand-woven Cane-line Weave®. The series is designed with a Japandi look that combines Scandinavian functionality with rustic Japanese minimalism and simplicity. Hive is inspired by the shape of a beehive, which is reflected in its unique and enveloping structure and design, creating a space for focus, immersion and reflection.
The Hive armchair has a sculptural silhouette that makes it perfect as a focal point in your outdoor area, either on its own or in a group. Hive is crafted in an artistic and transparent weave pattern made from weather-resistant Cane-line Weave®.
In the version offered here, the striking seat shell is supported by a sturdy 4-leg frame made of teak or aluminium. Hive can also be designed as a hanging chair.
The Hive armchair has comfortable upholstery and an optional adjustable neck cushion for optimal support. The upholstery features the QuickDry & Airflow system, which allows it to dry in about an hour after a rain shower.

Cane-line is a Danish design company that has been in business for 25 years. We are specialized in hand-woven materials, water- and weatherproof furniture. To all designers, the design and expression of every single piece of furniture matter, but at Cane-line comfort is as much a core issue. All furniture of the Cane-line outdoor collection is UV-resistant, colourfast and resistant to water and frost damage.
