Surface (open compartment right) from B&B Italia

Minimalist, geometric, linear, almost modular, Surface is a series of multipurpose, highly customisable small storage units inspired, in the words of the designer, by a painting by Piet Mondrian and the sculptures of Donald Judd. Skilfully combining wood, metal and satin and glossy colours, they express a poetic design that moves between reduced forms, essential materials and natural colour choices. Sober features that never issue from simplification but rather from a subtle quest for balance.

In the version offered here, the side panels are painted nickel bronze. The chest of drawers has two drawers and is available in light brushed oak or smoked oak finishes. The open compartment is located on the front right-hand side and is equipped with a fixed shelf. The top of the chest of drawers is divided into two sections, with the right-hand side painted in glossy coffee (3750L).
