OYO S from baltensweiler

Shortly before the exhibition Light & Building, a new lamp has been created. Since we liked it straight away, we decided to show three prototypes at the show. The success was very great and we were given many orders, though there neither existed a name, nor a price for this lamp. From the many proposals of the visitors the name Oyo has been finally chosen.

OyO is a LED-light system consisting floor lamps and lamps for the ceiling. Characteristic for OyO are the two disc-shaped alu reflectors with the blazing frame. The rod extends like a telescope and branches off in Y shape. The light remembers a plant with its leaves. But behind the form hides a subtle technology, especially what concerns the current-carrying telescope and the ball joint. The light head of OyO is a slightly dished slice, as big as a compact disk. The push button for switching and dimming is located on the bottom side directly by the finger hole. The temperature control prevents overheating und guarantees a long lifetime of the LED. The reflectors may easily be changed.

​The floor lamp OYO is ideal for reading or for indirect lighting in the living area. The luminous intensity corresponds to a 100W incandescent bulb. The sturdy base with built-in cable storage also holds fully extended telescopic safely on the ground.
