Standway from edra

The narrative of softness that has always characterised Francesco Binfarè's research is enriched by another stage that takes the master back to the origins of the invention of the "intelligent cushion": it is the Standway sofa. The name Standway indicates that the path begun with the Standard model and continued with Standalto has ended with a milestone.

Standway has the "intelligent cushion". With light pressure while sitting comfortably, the back and armrests can be modelled as desired. Standway has spherical feet. They are not part of the sofa. They do not function as its support, it is as if it were detached. And they are not part of the floor either. They represent a state of suspension. Four colour variations of the spheres - anthracite, dark grey, medium grey and light grey - are combined with the upholstery to create an ideal, voluminous, soft dress, designed to adapt with grace and elegance to two- or three-seater sofas and even to large compositions, linear or curved.

With its elegant presence, Standway adapts to different linear or open solutions: Two- or three-seater sofas or a large
chaise longue armchair. Different seat depths offer different levels of comfort. The large, mouldable Smart cushions and the seats with Gellyfoam® and feather fillings provide an unbeatable level of comfort.
