born 1949, initially he studied precision mechanics at the FH Ulm. Subsequently he studied product design at the college of arts in Stuttgart. He started as a technical consultant for various desing offices. Georg Appeltshauser founded his own design office in 1979. The main emphasis of his work is focused in furniture design.
