3 Fauteuil Grand Confort, Grand Modèle (Limited Edition) from Cassina

Designed 1928 by the architect Le Corbusier in collaboration with Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand, the LC3 armchair is still part of modern and exclusive furnishings - truly a design classic. The large, soft cushions of this cubic seating furniture, compared to LC2 Armchair by about 30cm more wide, offering optimal seating comfort.

The armchair offered for sale here was produced in 2008 as one of only 500 pieces worldwide in a limited special edition ‘1928-2008 LC3 Edizione Speciale Anniversario’ and bears the number 62. The super comfortable down cushions are externally upholstered in light brown Z leather, a beautiful natural leather that develops a wonderful patina over the years. The inner cover is made of jute-coloured flax (fabric). The glossy lacquered frame in light blue offers a unique contrast.

This is an exhibition piece that has only been used by walk-in customers for testing purposes. Overall, the armchair is in almost mint condition. Only on closer inspection are slight signs of wear visible on the seat (this can be seen when zooming in on the photos).
