Following the work of Patricia Urquiola and Eduardo Chillida, Bárbara Giménez Weinbaum has reinterpreted one of the most influential design classics of the 20th Century. Based on the draft by Bonet, Kurchan and Ferrari-Hardoy, the resulting two-seater picks up the harmonious geometry of the original design and offers exceptional seating comfort. It is a timeless eye-catcher and aesthetic sofa in one.
With only about 12kg weight the Twin Chair is a very light sofa which can be placed very flexible and can be moved quickly when needed. Like its little brother, the Original Hardoy Butterfly Chair the Hardoy Butterfly Twin Chair is covered with first class, very durable leather of Argentine cattle. The frame is made of brushed stainless steel or black powder-coated and can not be disassembled.
The Hardoy Butterfly Twin Chair was awarded with the reddot Award in 2013.
WEINBAUM, founded 2010 in Frankfurt am Main (Germany), creates, manufactures and markets contemporary design furniture.
