Convenient cantilever armchair with hand-braided seat made of patented Tecta wicker. The frame is made with partially flattened steel tubes in the "tube aplati" technique, and is either in glossy chrome-plated or satin finished stainless steel available. The armrests are also wrapped with wickerwork. The chair is available with and without tilt mechanism. The cantilever model D 35-1 can be adjusted by shifting weight, while the model D 35 comes without tilt mechanism. For even greater comfort may be ordered an optional neck roll and a cushion pad. The stool C 35 serves as a matching footrest.
Tecta is a furniture company based in German Lower Saxony. With the protection and innovative continuation of original Bauhaus models they selected a very prominent field of activity and a very fastidious one. Released by the avant-garde of the 1920s as an risky venture in small-scale production, Tecta managed it exclusively to produce in larger scales today. This has been authorized officially by the Bauhaus archive in Berlin. So Tecta belongs to the leading names when it comes to Bauhaus furniture.
