Panton intended to create a light in which both the base and the shade served as a reflector and use the organic shapes that he is known for. This iconic design, which measures 160 mm in diameter, is a true-to-scale version of the original Panthella Table lamp and can be used anywhere as it does not depend on a power supply.

Panthella Portable Metal is a highly flexible and charming little table lamp that can be used anywhere as it does not depend on a power supply. In the metal version of the portable Panthella, both shade and trumpet stem are made of metal to provide a slightly different illumination experience compared to the opal Panthella Portable which has a translucent shade. The metal variants concentrate the light downwards towards the surface beneath the lamp to create a focused ambience.

The Panthella Portable Metal comes in four different powder-coated metal finishes, including White, Black and Orange.
