The 62-series of Greta M. Grossman has been designed in 1952, but named "the 62-series" because they were deemed to be ten years ahead of their time. The Grossmann 62 series includes between the desk some dressers, which are also available in our online shop.
The Grossmann desk in typical 50s style, unmistakably influenced by the Bauhaus style, quickly became a design classic, with his special charm the desk still finds its way into classical furnishing.
The desk 62-series is made of American Walnut veneer combined with a high-gloss black laminate table top and cabinet door. The cabinet has 3 drawers in it. The legs are powder coated steel and the back leg and door knob is made of solid American Walnut, both with a clear lacquer.
Design furniture and lamps made of different materials, in a timeless and stylish design are the result of the work of Danish design house GUBI. Curiosity, courage and intuition are key components for the success of the Danish furniture manufacturer, who looks for good design not only in the future, but gladly goes into the past to recover and revitalize forgotten design treasures of the 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s and 70s. The results are intercontinental designs, which combine the past and the future to timeless design classics.
