Paolo Ulian

He attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Carrara, where he took painting courses under Getulio Alviani and Luciano Fabro, before moving to Florence to enrol at the ISIA design institute. In 1990, he presented his thesis, designing a cardboard screen, which won him the belgian “Design for Europe” award. In the same year, he moved to Milan to work with Enzo Mari, where he stayed until 1992, before returning to Tuscany and starting his own business with his brother Giuseppe, with whom he still works today.
