Clear, simple and smart - typical terms that people apply to the work of Axel Bjurström. After completing his studies at the Konstfack in Stockholm, this creative, versatile designer also devoted himself to architecture and interior design. More recently, he has concentrated in product design. His aim: to develop simple, functional objects based on the Scandinavian design tradition. Panasonic and the Filippa K fashion company are among his clients. In 2012 his work gained him the Swedish Elle Decoration Award as Young Talent of the Year.
